Johnson, will take place at Music Hall

Since the burglary within a few
doors of the police station, G. Washing-
ton Gladstone carries a self-acting
burglar alarm in his hip pocket. George
says he does not propose to be stolen
by the next gang of burglars.
Mr. Hunt, our old but enthusiastic
wheelman, barely escaped another acci-
dent last evening. He was riding along
Railroad square and he, bicycle, a
horse car and a carriage got tangled up
together. N o damage resulted and
everything was soon straightened out.

ing to see the object of his affections.
When on his way to the depot another
of the young lady’s admirers started to
“do” the young man from this city.

roton opponent in the 'race which fol-

About .forty friends and relatives,
both young and old, assembled at the
residence of Mr. George D. Keeler on
Elizabeth street last night, it being the
reception night of Mr. and Mrs. Keel-
er’s wedding. Guests , were present
from N orwalk, East Norwalk, South
Norwalk and New Haven. A very so-
cial evening was spent. Music and
song were indulged in by those pres-
ent, little Elsie Platt’s vocal solo being
the most pleasing of the soles. About
ten o’clock the guests were ushered in-
to the dining room where they were
seated at tables fairly laden down with
, good things, to which all present did
ample justice. About midnight the
guests departed wishing Mr. and Mrs.
Keeler a long and happy wedded life.
