is likely to be taken?" it now seems
probable that in spite of the stubborn
opposition of the extreme protectionists
and whisky men to a reduction of the

anti-liquor men to a modification of the
internal revenue laws. moderaio men of
all shades of belief will compromise on a

is not to be expected that an ideal bill

woolen goods and other daily necessi-
