pital on the corner of Avenue D and Tenth

whom she did not want to marry was big-

man whom she wanted to marry that if he
married her, or she married him, or both,

Tuttle came upon the scene, which was at
the depot. Bringing the woman face to
face with her two ardent suitors, he‘ssked
herto designate which, (it either) she de-
sired. She chose her mate, and the kind-

on the 7:45 train for New York.

Tyrrell, of this city, one o! the crew
of the illeated schooner, Mary Anna, which
struck on Nantucket Bar on the evening of
the 14th lnst,and who was rescued from
the wreck in a pcrishing condition by a
party from the shore. He is now at home,
at his father’s, Hr. In Tyrrell of this city,
disabled and sufl‘ering with one foot so
badly from as to mien serious doubts of
his ever regaining the full use of it. And,

a constant breach over the vessel ; they were
obliged to take to the rigging, and their mf-

was washed away, including their boat, and
the ice made till it formed a coating two or
three feet thick all over her. When the

cabin; but early on Sunday morning they
were again driven out by the rise of the
