geographical and natural location.
It believes our schools will be 111c1e11sed in capacity and equipment.

It believes our local government will become 111111e. and more responsive to
the needs of our progressive c1tizens.
It believes there will be a garbage disposal plant established here in the
near future and that pollution will s 0011 be a thing of the. past 111 local
waters. This will have a reviving effect upon the oyster 111dustry.
It believes there will be established bef01e long 11 centially located civic
center in which 11111 be adequate playground space and buildings to house all
civic depa1tments.'
It believes that the various districts of the city will grow closer and closer
t,ogether soon becoming a closely-knit whole, which will face all new pro-
‘blems of community growth with a united front.
It believes the local banks will build up greater reserves and local busi-
ness houses larger lists of customers.
It believes bus routes will soon join South Norualk with nearby com—
munities, thus bringing increased trade here and making this the shopping
/! . center of a rich and populous area.
1 ' It believes the attractions of our shore and harbor will become more
widely known to those in nearby cities with the 1esult that our summerpopu-
lation 11 ill advance' in leaps and bounds.
. . For these reasons and many others too numerous to mention The Even-
ing Sentinel believes 111 the future of Norwalk, is p1 0111] that it started the
Booster movement here, and is determined to be ever in the forefront of every
campaign which will add to the progress of this city and the happiness and
profit of its citizens, our readers.
