Girls’ ind Women’s Club
Moves to New Quarters
The Girls’ and Women's club will
move from its present quarters on
Wall street tomorrow. to 24 Main
et'reet. The new quarters of the club
are more advantageous than the
old ones because there is only one
flight of stairs to climb instead of
two and at " because the rooms on
Main street e steam heated.
The activities of tho classes and
chapters are not being interrupted
but will continue in the new club
Mr oms as usual from tomorrow on.
‘he program committee is plan-
ing a series of programs for the year.
The first one will be in the form of

The Mlzpah Circle of the. King's
Daughters of the South Norwalk
Baptist church met last night at the
church.
Two years ago the circle under-
took to redecorate the auditorium or
the church at a cost of $600 and
last: night. the final payment of their
indebtedness ,gwas made. Mrs. Clor-
ence Miller, chalrlady of the social
committee for the past two years
has been in charge of the suppers.
rummage sales and benefit affairs
which have helped the Circle to dis-
charge this debt. Miss Ethel Rob-
bins hal been the leader.
A supper of fruit. salad. rolls, cof-
fee and crullore was served before
the meeting.
Final arrangements for the dis-
tribution of Thanksgiving baskets
were made.
The Mlzpah Circle has g-rOWn so
large (thirteen new members have
been admitted during the last
month) that it can no longer meet
in the homes of its members so that
the.next meeting will be held in
the Church'auditortum. on Tuesday.

The annual bazar of the King‘s
Daughters of the Baptist church
Stamford will be held Tuesday. Nov.
17 at the church. beginning at 9 A.

a. chicken patty dinner will be serv-
ed in the dinning room and tickets
