Give Two Plays and
Ladies’ Aid to Hold
Supper
church promises two important
events on the calendar' tor next
week. First. is the entertainment
to be given by the young women of
the Queen Esther circle. The pro-
gram wili Include two short come-
dies: “Aunt Deborah's Party" and
“Local and Long Distance." Since
the girls have been working very
hard on these two productions the
final result should be well worth at-
tending. ‘ ,.
On Thursday night the members
of the Ladies‘ Aid 0! the church will
give a chicken supper. Mrs. Como
McKibbln is chairman of the com-
mittee in charge.
The T. C. B. clan of the church
held a business meeting Wednesday
night at which time the monthly re-
ports were read. The financial sta-
tus of the class is very commends-
le. . '
The gathering was in the interests
of the fellowship of the class. Forty-
nve were present and attended the
supper served in the dining room (or
the occasion.
After the supper the Rev. Cham-
berlain gave a short talk. his sub-
ject being: “Four Words for Bible
Students." These four words stood
