The Wishington Senators led by
Stanley Harris, the youngest man-
ager in the major league baseball,
evened up the World Series this
afternoon in the tousth game when
they took the measure of the Niaw
YorlgGiants by a 7 to 4 score.‘Mo-
“(ridge who started the game off
for the Senators was wild in the
early frames of the game but set-
tled down after the second inning
and pitched a good game of ball
until the last of the eighth inning
when he again became erratic and
then sent in to pitch by Stanley
Kurds. ' He allowed three hits
which resulted in two runs for
HcGraw‘s men.
‘McGraw used three pitchers in
an, attempt to bring victory out of
defeat but his efforts were of no
avail as the Scnutors were on a
batting spree and nothing seemed
to halt them in their drive to win
the game. Barnes lasted for five
innings. although it was the opin-
ion of the fans that hr.- should have
been taken out after three runs
had been brought in in the third
frame as a. result of “Goose" Gos-

the lower right field stand. send-
ing in McNeely and Harris, ahead
‘ of him. Baldwin was sent in as re-
