Hitchcock. widely Known resident or
Fair-field Where he was town auditor
for manyyenrs. died at his home in
Piattsville yesterday. fie became ill
three davs ago xvi pneumonia.
‘ Mr. Hitchcock's death marks the
third one to occur in his family
within the last seven months, the
first ’being that of Alonzo Acker.
who resided in the Hitcthck homo.
and the second being that of Mrs
Hitchcock, who died a month after
Mr. Ac’ker.
Besides serving as town auditor
for many years, Mr. Hitchcock was
also Justice of the Peace. He was
a. member 0! St. John's lodge of
Masons. and is survived by two sons,
'Rolnnd and George Hitchcock.
The funeral will be held tomorrow
afternoon at 2 o'clock.
