Arthur Olsen yesterday started
the sec game of a double
neader $111.: the Philadelphia
Americans for Deficit. The local
boy was taken out in the sixth
inning for a pinch hitter. During
the time that. he was on the
mound he allowed five hits and
three runs. Detroit was defeated
by the score of 4-3. This is the
longest that Olsen has been in
the box at one time all during
the present season. He has been
worked very little this year by
Manager Ty Cobb. owing to the
fact that he has been troubled
with a. sore arm.
