The anual outing of,the Not-walk
Medical Society was held last night at
the Norwalk Country club. Eighteen
local physicians attended the affair.
SW Frank Hollywood served a
shore dinner. Entertninment for the
evening was provided- for by Ray
Werme of the Norwuk Electric com-
pany. and was in the form of a radio
concert. The loud speaking horn nt-
tachment to the radio outfit made the
concert sound as clear as a bell. Dr.
W. W. Tracey was chairman of the
committee in charge of the outing.

The Norwalk Library will close for a
two weeks' vacation on Monday. and
all those wishing to take out books
will have their last opportunity to do
so on Saturday. Four books may be
taken out on one card to be kept dur-
ing the entire month of August.

is known as "Old Hundred." as it was

war. and is prominent as the hiding
place of a Darien man. The'chimney
in the house is 17 foot wide. and
when the Tories broke into the Dar»

house. He was never caught. The
story has been handed down and the
