A rummage sale was held Juno 8.
9. 10 in the bssemcnt of the South
Norwnlk Congregational church. but
owing to the locstion only $75.40 was
realized. With the kind permission of
the mayor A Tax Day was held in Sep-
tember. the proceeds were consider-
ably less than previous years.
The Nursery closed for n few dsys
in August to enable the matron and
her assistant to take their vacation.

days in January. owing to illness of
tho mntron and sickness among the
children.
()n the 22d of December a. Christ-
mos party was given to the children
with a. tree. gifts and refreshments
which made a. happy time for them.
Financially. the association has not
been as successful as in the post. but
trust. this year will he morn so than
ever
