began last fall is being extended north-
ward to the Bethel line. and if this
town accepts the proposition made by
him the extension will be continued
southward nearly to the top of Roy-
nolds' hill. Commodore Luttgen has
acquired the requisite land east from
his residence to enable him to create
a lahelet without interfering with the
old and practically disused public high-
way in that locality. The project calls
for the building of three dams or what
may be described as one dam of three
distinct sections.
