of Henry Swartz for burglary on three
counts. committed in Greenwich in Ap-
ril last. was commenced yesterday in
the Criminal superior Court. It is
alleged that. Swartz entered three
houses in the hamlets of Gleuviue and
Pcmbcriuck and stole a large quanti-
ty of jewelry. He was arrested at Rye.
four miles away, and the stolen pro-
perty was found upon him. He claim-
ed to have purchased it front a man
in Port -..ester.

PLEADED GUILTY TO ASSAULT.
