Frederick A Wicke of Barton. of
the National Blscuit Company had oc-
casion to drive up to East Nerwalk,
Wednesday noon, and tried to get un-
der the railroad bridge near the East
Norwalk depot. The water here, how—
ever, was several feet deep, trolley
cars were stalled and so he decided to
try the bridge loading to Fitch street.
Here he found almost the some condi-
tions, but after considerable urging.
he managed to walk the horse through,
the water reaching the floor of the car-
ridge.
