yesterday to extend an invitation to
Senator O. H. Plait to act as chairman

chosen. It is understood that Senator

the chairmanship little business was
considered. though some rules were
adopted relating to the choice of 1191101

will be issued in circular form to cau-
cus officials.
Early in the evening the committee-
