Utter, iii Greens Farms, was broken into
Sunday, April 2811i, While Mr. Utter and his
family were at Church. Thethieves (-il'cct-
cd an entrance by breaking out a window
light, removing a nail from the inside and
raising the window. Their purpose was
evidently to obtain money, as they ransack-
ed the bureaus, beds, andevcry place where
they suspected money might be se-
creted. They succeeded in finding about a
hundred pennies which they appropriated,
together with a razor, a pair of new partia-
loons, and various small articles, and after
helping themselves to plenty of eatibles
from the pantry, a portion of which they
Sll'eWed about the floor, left for parts un-
known. Not content with breaking into
and seeking to rob his house they paid him
another visit Friday night, and robbed his
hen roost. 'l‘he scoundrels it is supposed do
not live far from their field of operations.
Mr. David Coly has recently sold his vil-
lage property on Main Street, adjoining

The residence of Mr. Gage was entered by
burglars on Thursday night week, about half
past eight, during the absence Oi the family,
and robbed of about $200 in money and
some valuable old coins with some siIVcr
plate. These robbers have traveled along
with the circus, as they have committed dc-

out giving relief. Since I came to this city, I procur-
ed medical aid, and finding the child grew worse, so
that we really thought she would die, we deep-trod
of gettinga remedy. At last: alady friend called in
and assured us that the child was troubled with
