The Ground comprising Fifty-three Acres,

try, will give the best advantages for the Crit-
ical examination of Stock.

with seats for the accommodation of visitors,
and from various parts of the Ground some of
the most delightful views in the vicinity of
New Haven. '
Commodious and Safe Seats are provided
(for which a small fee is charged) and the
Ladies will find a Saloon contiguous to them
for their exclusive use.
Every advantage will be afforded to exhib-
itors of every Class of Stock and Wares for
their best display, and no pains or expenses
will be spared on the part of the Society, to
make the Show of‘ 1859, the most attractive
one that the Siciefy has yet made.

HE Eastern States, including New York
and that section of the Union which is
most widely known as “ New England," con-
tain a thrifty, industrious, intelligent people,
who have achieved an uncommon degree of
prosperity: with a climate extremely trying to
certain constitutions, and a soil of small fertil-

communities in almost every thing that con-
