Wonder/ul cure of Consumption.—Although
Dr. Taylor's Balsam of Liverwort has found
hundreds of advocates, and has produced so
large a number of Testimonials in its favor, I
cannot withhold my small meed ofpraise. Be-
ing predisposed _to consumption, both from pc-
culiar formation and hereditary transmission. I
tried every means to check this disease, and
strengthen a naturally weak constitution. _I
spent two years at Pisa, one in Rome. two in
Florence, and another in the south of France,
seeking. meantime. the advice of the best phy-
sicians. Two years since I returned to this
country in about the same situation as when I
left. I had seen in the reading rooms of Eu
rope much said in favor of Dr. Taylor's Balsam
of Liverwort. and as soon as I arrived in this
city, I used it, and in three months I was so
well I concluded I could safely pass the winter
here. and did so. I have used an occasional

now in as good health as possible. My cough
has wholly ceased. and my lungs has every

had a severe cough and pain in the breast ; yet
after using every other medicine, he was cured
by Dr. T'aylor’s Balsam of Liverwort. This

afl'ord,to be idle, follow his example, if they are

Consumption cu.red.—My son. having a violent
cold, used to cough violently. raising quantities
of thick rputrid matter, and finally he could not
turn over in bed from weakness. He manifested

thus not only disappointing thejust expectations
of those who use it. but we fear, doing in many
cases. much injtiry.

As we are informed that there are such com-
pounds now offercd at various places. and by
different persons. we would caution all who are
interested. to be particular to inquire for “ Bar-

Asthe subject cannot, with propriety, be en
