years with severe pains in all liisjoiiits, which were
always increased on the slightest rnotion,tl1e tongue
preserved at steady whiteness; loss of appetite, uiz

tive, the urine high colored, and often profuse
sweating, unattended by relief. The above symp-
toms were also attended with considerable dilliculty
of breathing, with a sense of tightness across the
chest, likewise agroat want of due energy in the
