North Haven is dead. He Was a vet~
eran of the war and a member of Ad-
miral Foote Post, G. A. R. He repres-
eut'ed his town in the general assembly
in 1888. 'lhe funeral was held to-day.

Awarded Damages.

been awarded $35,000 in his suit for
damages against the Consolidated rail-

Fraudulent Pension Claim.
Amanda F. Keller of Bridgeport
pleaded guilty in the United States dis-
trict court this week, in Hartford of se-
curing money on a fraudulent pension
claim and was fined $25 and costs. She
went to jail. She will serve 26 days.
The accused at one time resided in this
city.
