the Furnishing,Excavacating
for and covering of about
1700 lineal feet of Stone-
ware Pipe, 15 inches invdiameter,
said pipe to be laid in Harbor
Avenue and Butler Street, in
this City.
Plans and specifications can be
seen, and all information obtained
of J. Arthur-Pinneo, chairman of the
sewer committee, or C. N. Wood.
City Engineer.
The sewer committee hereby re-
serve the right to reject any or all
bids, or to accept any that in
their judgment will be for the best
interests of the city.
Bonds in the sum of $1,000 with
good and sufficient sureties, and
satisfactory to said sewer committee,
will be required of the person or
persons to whom the contract may
be awarded
Cash or a‘certified check of $100
in amount made payable to the Treas-
urer of the City of Norwalk, must
accompany each proposal as a guar-
antee that the party to whom said
contract is awarded will within three
days after notification of award, exe-
cute said contract iu writing.
Proposals must be sealed and en-
dorsed on the outside of the envel-
ope with the name of the bidder,
and marked “Proposal,” and address-
ed to Edward M. Lockwood, City
Clerk.
