Mrs. Flower Middlebrock, was

yesterday and had her leg broken by

Barondcss Resentenced.
NEW YORK, May 27.—Joseph Barondess,
who was convicted of extortion and whose
conviction has just been aifirmed by the
court of appeals, was resentenced to one
year and nine months’ imprisonment.
Hanged Himself in His Barn.
LOCK HAVEN, Pa.., May 27.—Jonathan
Snyder, a well to do farmer, aged sixty-six
years, residing at Loganton, in Sugar val-
ley, committed suicide by hanging himself
in his barn. ,

Haney, the Cazadero stage robbers, made a
