It is reported that while a canvasser
for a watch club was making his rounds
Tuesday near St. Paul’s Church he
discovered a woman whom he claimed
was his wife, and that they were mar-

canvasser made his appearance at the
front door, it is said the woman made

Ann Howe, the last surviving daugh-
ter of the late General Hezekiah Howe
of new Haven, died in Colum bus, 0.,
Mergh 24, at the home of her brother-
Elenry Howe, the Ohio historian, .fO' -
merly of New Haven. She was a hlgu-
ly esteemed lady. She was a SlStel' of
Alfred Terry of New Haven, who was
many years ago a prominent New
Haven citizen and u ho was father of
the late General Alfred H. Terry.
