Some More Fire.

Numerous complaints have recently
been made of the unseemly goings-on at
the house formerly occupied by Fred-

A grand church organ has been built
for the Norwalk Methodist church, by
Reuben Midmer a Son, of Brooklyn, and
is now being placed in position. It is
equipped with all the modern improve-

pronounced one of the finest instruments
in this region, standing 195 feet high, and
17% feet in width, the case being ash, with
cherry trimmings.
The Atlantic Yacht Club fleet came up
the Sound Saturday evening and anchored
in the cove between Bell Island and Wil-
son Point.‘ They presented a beautiful
sight, and a large number of our people
visited the Island to see the handsome
squadron on Sunday. Divine service was
held on board the Grayling, with presch-
ing by Rev. W. H. Thomas, formerly of

Bad Circus Weather.
Three circuses became “ acquainted
with grief” last week. Frank A. Robbins‘

Norwalk early in the season, ran off the
track on the New York 85 New England
road at Putnam Saturday morning. One
man, John Willy, a driver, aged 60, wits
crushed to death and another man was
probably fatally injured. Three earloads
of animals' cages were dumped in a heap.
The monkey-cages were torn to pieces and
the monkeys all escaped and are at large
in the woods. The citizens of Putnam
should never cease to be thankful that it
