LONDON, May 4. —Lord Rosebery and Sir
William Harcourt are not on speaking
terms, and only the complications in
China and Nicaragua prevent Lord Rose-
bery from resigning the premiership im-
mediately. The Sun comments upon Sir
William Harcourt’s saying in his budget
speech that it was probably the last time
he would introduce a budget to the house.
Taylor Sent For His Dress Suit.
REDFIELD, S. D., May 4.—It has been
discovered that some persons gained en-
trance to Deiaulter Taylor’s former resi-
dence here, which, with its household
goods, is held by the sheriff on liens by the
state and the First National bank, and ab-
stracted Taylor’s evening clothes, high
hats, silken ties, fancy waistcoat and fine
linen shirts.
