Yacht club is nearing completion and
when finished will be one of the hand-

yesterday, and inspected the edifice.
While crossing the Consolidated rail-
road’s bridge over Pelham Bay yester-
day morning at three o’clock, William
J. Harvey, a brakeman on freight 118,
which left this city shortly after one
o’clock, fell between the cars and was
cut in two. When picked up he was
still alive but expired soon after. His
mutilated remains were placed in a box
and sent to the morgue. Harvey was
thirty-three years of ,age and well-
known in this city. ' '
The man killed at the east end of the
drawbridge, Saturday afternoon, has
not as yet been identified. Medical
Examiner Burke has a letter which
may throw some light on the man’s
identity, but as it is written in the
Hungarian language it has not as yet
been translated. A book numbered 44
was also found showing that the man
evidently worked on some Incontract.
He had also worked atifi‘s'oine place
and had drawn $2, which was credited
on one of the pages. From indications
it is believed that he was a Hungarian.
