Mr. Hallock, yes- terday morning, he was notified that his infant daughter was dying. He hastened home and found the little one still alive, and to-day she is reported as being more comfortable. An accident which caused a serious delay occurred in the freight yard of the Consolidated railroad between Long wharf crossing and the Water street bridge, New Haven, on Saturday night in which two locomotives were badly wrecked and two,of the big box cars were smashed into kindling wood.
