A laborer working on the railroad

As' Dr. Baker of East Norwalk was
returning from the hospital in one of
S. W. Gregoy’ s carriages shortly after
midnight last night, one of the wheels
caught in the Tramway track and came
off. The horses started to run but were
stopped by the driver and the doctor
escaped injury.
Constable Ireland yesterday arrested
, Stephen Baldizek on a charge of stab-
bing John Retro- The latter complains
that 'the prisoner stabbed him in the
head with a knife eight'oimes, and puts
a cut head in as evidence. The case
was adjourned by Justice Barrett last
evening until this afternoon.
