Patrick Morrison, a tourist, arrived
in this city from Stamford last night
suffering with an attack of pneumonia.
He was taken to the hospital in the
ambulance by Dr. Burke. -
Young Burns, who was stabbed in
the light on the Washington street
bridge and taken to the hospital Fri-
day night, is reported as getting along
nicely and will recover.
About a dozen sportsmen attended
the shoot atA D. Sanford’s in Sauga-
ruck on aturday. Bella-O. Heikes, the
Celebrated shot from Ohio Was present,
and gave a fine exhibition of shooting.
The accounts of the Consolidated
road for March shows that the general
busrness reached a greater volume than
during any month since last summer
when the business depression set in.
John Shay, of Yorktown, N. Y., a
'ontractor on the Consolidated railroad
mprovemeuts near Rowayton, died at
'he Mahackemo hotel at- an early hour‘
this morning. He had been sick but a
short time.
The directors of the Consolidated
road held their regular monthly meet-
:ng at the directors’ room in the Grand
Central depot, New York, Saturday
aflernoon. Only routine business was

Theremains of George Crofut were
brought to this city from the Bridge-
port hospital on Saturday afternoon,
and the funeral was held this after-
noon i'rom the Baptist church. The
interment was at Riverside cemetery.
