During the gale yesterday a large elm tree 1n the yard of Capt. Nathan Rob- erts, East Norwalk, blew down and the roots which extended under the house, raised that building up about two feet. Owing to a broken bridle a horse rid- den by Oscar Banks fell down near the post office last night and attracted a crowd of about 500 inside of a minute. A lineman of the city electric light received a severe shock by a wire which he was holding coming in con- tact with the trolley wire near Concord street, (yesterday afternoon.
