Prosecuting liquor agent Honnecker
is severely criticised to- day for allow-
ing illicit and unlawful liquor selling to
be carried on within a few hundred feet
of his ofiice while he sends a posse awa
down near Darion to seize a poor Ita-
ian.
As Officer Ireland was on his way
home at four o ’clock this morning, he
discovered a Slavonian, named Andrew
on Mechanic street, which is being
moved by Contractor Partrick. The
oflicer arrested him and locked him up.
This morning Justice Barrett gave him
$3 and costs.
