George Platt, who has been confined
in the lockup for over a week, will be
taken to the alms house this afternoon
if his papers for admittance to the
Soldiers’ Home, at Noroton, are not
made out in the meantime. We do
not know what the trouble is, but the
selectmen have been ver slow 1n taking
care of this case.
