It has been supposed that a city or-
dinance existed, forbidding bicycle
.riders from using the sidewalk. On
Saturday afternoon, however, three
men took possession of the sidewalk in
front of- Mrs. Matthews’ premises on
West avenue, compelling pedestrians
to vacate, or be run down. This is
only one of many instances.
