and orchestra at the Norwalk Opera

The Union school juniors defeated
the Norwalk’s 1n a game of ball on Sat-
u1 day by a score of 25 to 14.

A base ball club from Both & Gold-
schmidt’ s factory will go to Nor oton to
morrow snd play a team from that town.

Eight members of the Norwalk Wheel
Club, under command of Captain Ma-
ther, wheeled to Baton Point yesterday.

Miss Annie Selleck and mother and
Miss Flora McDonald are visiting Mrs.
Henry Smith and family, 1n Ridgefield

Th’e Decoration day time-table of
the Boton Point steamers, Lenoir and
Northport, will be found in our adver-
tising columns.

Owing to the small attendance, the
ball of the Skandinavian society, which
was to have been held last Saturday
evening, was postponed.

Mr. George Lauder left this city last
evening for New York, where he will
join the Yale Law school base ball
club for a trip through the South.

Mrs C. D. Matthews and family are
in Chicago for a week’s visit, from
which place, they will return direct to
