An Old Man Dragged to Death.
EASTON, April 19.-——David Amey and wife,
an aged couple from Harmony, N. J .,
drove here to visit their daughter yester-
day. Their carriage was run into by a
runaway coal team, and both occupants
were thrown out. Mr. Ainey’s leg became
entangled in the lines, and he was dragged
two blocks, receiving injuries which caused
his death. Mrs. Amey had an ear torn off,
her jaw fractured and shoulder dislocated.
She is not expected torecover.
DIyerstown Incendiaries.
MYERSTOWN, April 19.——T-he large bank
barn on the farm of AdamBaney, near
this place, was destroyed by fire, with its-
contents. The live stock was saved. The
loss is $5,500. Incendiarism is suspected.
Several weeks ago an attempt was made
to burn the stables attached to the Bany-
HOuse here, owned by the'same party.

PITTSBURG, April 19.—-Miss Mollie Neal-
son, the young woman faster, completed
