Mrs. Elizabeth F. Godwin, wife of
Walter Godwin, died at her home on
Wood street, street, this morning, ged
41 years. The remains will be taken to
_Danbury for interment Thursday morn-

crowd was present and everybody that
attend ed had a first-class time. A neat

Mr. H. O. Bailey of this city, and
Miss N. A. Loyd, were married in the
Trinity Episcopal church. at New Ro-
chelle, last evening, by Rev. C. F.
Caneby. Mr. and Mrs. Bailey will re-
side at Springwood.

This morning Justice Barrett imposed '

The seventh annual masquerade ball

P. at Music Hall last evening was a;
brilliant success. Early in the even-:
ing the maskers began to arrive on the i
floor while the gallery were soon filled f

gorgeous Spectacle. Between eight and i
nine o’clock Prof. Heine’s popular or- 5
chestra rendered an excellent concert 2‘
that was greatly enjoyed by all. ;
Promptly at 9:15 o’clock the orchestra
struck up the grand march and the :
members of the floor committee in their :
handsome committee costumes lead ,
about seventy-five couples around the I
hall in in some very intricate as well as ,
beautiful movements. At the conclu- ;
sion of the march, the dancing was be-
gun and it was about five o’clock this l

A hunter and a wolf had an interesting},
