walk Athletic club will be held at the.
club room next Tuesday evening. At-
ter the meeting will be given a musi-
cal and athletic entertainment tor
members of the club only.

Alexander Morton was before J as-
tice Barrett thisjmorning for assaulting
his cousin, Robert Morton. He plead
guilty and in consideration of his here-

one dollar and costs, which he paid and
was discharged.

The police were informed last night
that a suspicious looking man was
loitering around the premises of Thom-
as I. Raymond. The man was arrested
and brought to the lockup. This mornv
ing he proved to be William Taylor, a
well known laboring man possessmg a
good, reputation, and he was discharged--
