Much indignation is felt by the men-i-I
bers of the South Norwalk Dramatic
club on account of a letter received
from the Executive Board of the Nor-
walk Hospital Association, relative to.
the receipts from the play recently giv-
en by them for the benefit of the hos-
pital. The business manager of the
club has a very neat sum .of money on
hand and is waiting for some of the
good people to pay for the tickets they
received on credit, in order that the
sum may be increased.
Mr. Joseph O’Brien was entertained
last evening by several of his young
gentlemen friends. Among them were
Edward Hyde, Prof. Rufus Osborn,
the eminent mandolin player, of East
Norwalk, Chief John \Vehle and Wil-
liam Knapp. The evening was de-
lightfully spent in song, music and
story telling. The duettsgof Messrs.
Hyde and Osborn and the vocal solos
of Mr. Wchle were especially pleasmg.
