troubles. George was the most prom-
ising candidate for pitcher of the Yale
Varsity team and the base ball inter-

Theresa Joyce, daughter of Mrs.
Maggie Joyce of this city, was removed
to the hospital to-day. The ch11d is
suffering from an injury which she sus-
tained while at play some time ago,
and it was thought advisable to remove
her to the hospital.
The case of Michael Connors who
was arrested for implication in thejunk
stealing case of Lincoln and others,
' come up before Justice Townsend yes-
terday afternoon and was continued un-
til. Tuesday. Justice Townsend tried
the case as it was an old one.
