NEW ORLEANS, March 11.—The col- lector of delinquent licenses filed two suits yesterday in the name of the State ofLouisiana—one against the Crescent City Athletic Club for $1,000 unpaid State licenses on glove contests given in that club during 1892 and 1893, and one against the Olympic Club for $18,000 un- paid State licences for contests in that club since 1888. The suits are based on the law which requires a State license for exhibitions, amusements, &c. The petition in each case states that the re- ceipts of the clubs annually are $250,000 and the profits to the clubs are enormous, Movements of Pugilists. PANAMA, March 11.-—The American colony here is plunged in grief by a most melancholy accident.
