Miss Carrie Keeler of Elizabeth street

Builder Wilson has raised the last one

A wagon belonging to Davenport, the‘

broken up quite badly.
The‘Norwalk Wheel and Social club-
met last evening at their rooms on
South Main street. Business of im-
pOrt-ance was transact-ed.
The members of the South Norwalk
Athletic Club are making arrangements
in hold a grand athletic entertainment
to their club rooms at an early date.
Charles Brown (white) and Fred
Morris, (colored,) were arrested last
night for evasion of fare on one of the
Consolidated trains. Justice Town-
send fined them $5.00 and costs each.
As they had no money they were taken
to Bridgeport jail. ‘
A young man whose name we could
not learn fell in a fitin front of Steven’s
grocery store this morning. Nobody
seemed to know what to do until Hen-
rv Jennings happened along and ap-
plied restoratives to the young man
who soon recovered.
J. P. Francis, the clothier, was sur-
prised on entering his store this morn-
ing, to find the rear door of same open.
Examination showed that some party
or parties had entered the store through
the transom over the front door, and
helped themselves to a large quantity
of overcoats, etc.. including three $20
overcoats, one $22 overcoat, an $18
ulster, a coat and pair of pants, valued
at $20 a hat, size 6%, two pairs of silk
suspenders and one box Of linen hand-
kerchiefs initial “W.” No clue was
left, and the matter was immediately
reported to the police, who :are dili-
gently working on the care.

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 15.—Judge Pens
rose of he Orphans’ Court filed his ud-
jud icsztion of the estate of Samuel J. Ran-
dall yesterday. The accounting of the
estate was filed by Fannie W. Randall,
the widow and administratrix oi the
Congressman. The assets consist of $200
worth of personal property and $589.74,
balance of salary due Mr. Randall as
member of the House of Representativel.
Mrs. Randall has expended $1,192.15 on
behalf of her husband’s estate, $1,136.50 01

vices during Mr. Randall’s last illness. '

denials, there is growing unrest among
the Chicago switchmen, and a strike
about the time of the opening of the
World’s Fair is becoming a strong proba-
bility. Non-union men will demand
equality with union men. ,
