Thomas Hogan, who was arrested
last night for vagrancy and drunken-
ness, was sentencedto fifteen days in
jail by Justice Townsend this morning.
Charles Russell, another vagrant, was
given ten days 1n the same institution,
by the same justice.

The John Weidhass intimidation case
in which the firm of Buckley & Son of
Norwalk, Wm. G. Hofi'mann and oth-
ers were interested, came up before
Justice Morrell this morning. Lawyer
. Lockwood appeared for the defense
and Lawyer Taylor for the prosecution.
After listening to the testimony, J us-
tice Morrell bound Weidhass over to
the next term of the Superior Court,
under bonds of $150 .
