Mr. M. V. Woodward of Southport,
Ct., is visiting Mr. F. S. Donaldson of

per at the City Hotel.

pleasant visit with friends in this city.
Several members of the South Nor-
walk Athletic club visited B1idgeport
last evening and attended the ‘ ‘smoker”
given by the membeis of the Bridge-
port Athletic Club.
One of a team of two horses hitched. -
to a sledge loaded with lumber, slipped
and fell near the Consolidated tracks
last evening, leaving the rear end of
the sledge upon the tracks. The horse
was soon gotten on his feet and
turnout pulled out of the way of a pass-
ing train.
The W. A. R. club met last night
with John A. Smith at his home on
Haviland street. Dancing and games
were indulged in until eleven o’clock,
when a collation was served, after
which the dancing was resumed and
continued until early morning. All
those present expressed themselves as
highly pleased with the evening’ 3 en-
tertainment.
