guilty to being vagrants. this morning,
and were sent to jail for ten days, by
Justice Morrell.
The Leonard-Ashton fishing party
caught nearly a bushel of b1ackhsh,yes—
terday. Capt. “Tom” Smith piloted
them to the fishing grounds, which in
a measure accounts for their good luck.
E. F. Knapp was in receipt of three
car loads of lumber, C. F. Tolles of
two car loads Of timber, E. M. Tolles
& Co. and Raymond Bros. each one car
load of kindlino wood via Housatonic
railroad yesterday.
Yesterday afternoon a party who
were out in Frank Bradley’s yacht
