A great many unjust remarks are being
made in regard to the East Norwalk
Fire company not. getting to the tire
Sunday morning until it was too late.
The (act of the matter is that the alarm
was not given until the barn was about
burnt down. The person that gave the
alarm ran to the fire first. instead at tho
school house as he should have done.
The company responded promptly. It
seems as though there are property
owners enough in East Norwalk to pro-
vide a better alarm. A large hell would
not cost so very mucli. and it might pay
