Bright's disease of the kidneys. which
developed in complication with mala-
rial and gastric fevers. Tho dcccascd
was in his thirty-aevcntli yciir. and was
of robust appearance. active habits and
a very cheerful temperament. Tho ex-
pression is Npt‘ltedly heard that “ it
seems hardly possible that he has gone.“
He was a member of the firm of Fitch &
Knapp. ptickin box makers. which is
proaperiug tine y. Everything in his
trainees and social relations was of the
most pleasant and promising character.
He was Senior \\ arden of Old “'ell
Lodge 1“. a A. M.. and an excellent otfi~
oer. He was held in high esteem by the
fraternity. Though possessed of a and-
able ambition. and with bright business
prospects. when he became aware that
there was hardly a possibility of his re-
covery, he made no complaint but cx~
pressed himself resigned to his lot, and
calmly made known his wishes in rela-
tion to his business and private affairs.
He leaves a wife and child. His funeral
will be held at the Congregational church
at 3:00 o‘clock to—rnorrow afternoon.

with the deceased enables us to say that
in all that pertained to true manhood
Mr. Fitch was the embodiment. In bus-
iness lie was the very soul of honor, and
in all matters that required an exhibition
of manly courage, uncompromising iri-

accord to him the fullest weed of praise
for all that goes to make it good citizen.
