about a quarter of an inch longer then from
right to left, and I am strongly right-hand-

ten strongly right-handed persons are left
legged, the reason being that every activw
effort with the right hand is almost ueccesss~

if he be a tourist of the English rapid

he may see and hear all there is to be seen
and heard in Chihuahua in a day or so.
The town is on the bank of a narrow stream
culled (Touchos. Partly around it are high,
conical hills in bold relief against the clear
blue sky. It was founded in the year 1604.
An aqueduct built in 1717 supplies it with
water from the river Chur'ist cur, ten miles
distant. A handsome cathedral near the
main plaza is the principal building.
Statues of Jesus and the twelve apostles
ornament its facade. It was built by use of
the prime-eds of 8 tax of twelve and one-half
centaouevcry 88 worth of metal gotten
fromtheSuutsEulslia mines. more is a
plans or public square, lined with fruit trees
and flowers. and a market plane, where most
of the products of the State may be pur-
chased. The principal domestio articles are
