that followed, only a brief referanoe can
be made.
Monday night the whole party rc-
pclred to Roton Point and gave up a
couple of hours to the worship of Terpcl-
chore, after which a crab and charm
paigne supper was served. But the
coming festivites were reserved natur-
ally for Independence day. The fea-
tures of the day being the dinner which
was served at two p. in., the menu be-
ing very artistic. The entire day was
one continuous round of joyous pleas-
ure which was not interfered with by
the rain which came in the afternoon,
for when the weather prevented the
out of door sports. a dance in the barn
proved a most attractive substitute.
The weather cleared before sunset and
an darknei-a set in. a clam roast was
served in the grove which was illumi-
nated with chinese lanterns and colored
lights. After the supper came a mag-
nificent display of fire works upon the
lawn such as is rarely seen on private
grounds. Independence day ended with
theatrical display in which some of the
ladies showed an ability quite the equal
of many professionals. The guests of

him to get out. I allowed his claim for
rent. I heard Res fall. It was from five
to ten minutes before anyone went out.

was operated on come time ago my voice

out. Austin did not. say anything to me
about pushing Res down stain—did not
intimate such tithing. Austin came and

terwardl I went down stairs. Saw Rea,
of the kind that they have ever experi-
enced. Res and asked him what was the mat.
ter. Res said be had got pushed down
stairs, but the lights were out and
he could not see who did it.
The inquest was then adjourned to
Saturday, July 15th.

adjourned meeting was held. After the
reading of the minutes, the report of a
joint committee appointed at a previous
meeting were received and read.
