To-momw will be the grand opening
day as Rotor: Point, and it is expected
that there will be thousands of visitors.
Up to the present time many hundreds
have visited the pretty watering place,
and great promise is given of a very pop~
ular and successful season. Everything
for the comfort and enjoyment of guests
has been attended to. and no one can help
appreciating Mr. Ackert‘s endeavors to
make it a first-class place. In the pavil-
ion has been placed a handsome piano
which adds largely to the manv other at-
tractions. " The new bathing-houses are in
readiness, the bowling-alley and shooting
gallery is open, and the accommodations in
the hotel and refresh ment departments are
