NEW YEAR'S CALLS.
The custom of calling upon friends. which
has become so general. will probably be in-
dulged in to a greater extent in this tow»

proval of all of a social disposition. We

any peeoeable one that has preceded it in the

the Centennial Exhibition at Philadelphia.
